It feels great to get back into figure painting after being away from it for a while! Figurative painting and drawing has definitely been my jam for some time - and, like creating art in general, if I don't do it for a while, I start to feel like something's missing. So, I'm glad to be able to attend a nearby workshop and paint a live model. Something about this form of art feels so second nature to me - as soon as I get in front of the easel, the rest just seems to flow. I hope to produce many more pieces like these in the months to come!
